Real Events has managed this unique art project since September 2004. Primary school pupils are encouraged to relate eating healthily to having fun through creation of a poster, either on their own or in groups, using any materials or methods - paints, pastels, markers, crayons, fabrics, printing, tracing, collage, etc. There is an incredible response to this competition with nearly 3,500 students participating annually. The most creative posters are short-listed to appear on a specially designed leaflet which is distributed to Dunnes Stores nationwide at the end of January and shoppers are asked to vote for their favourite poster in each category. |
