Real Events has managed this project on behalf of Forfás for the last 4 years producing large-scale National Awards for Primary Schools who achieved excellence in the field of science.  Real Events coordinated 654 schools to receive their awards in 20 high profile regional events in June 2008.  Our expertise ensured that each of the regional events were managed to the highest standards.

Real Events project manages all aspects of the awards ceremonies around the country and liaises with over 80 science based organisations in creating hands-on interactive exhibitions, Science Pods and learning zones for each awards ceremony. To date these have included a range of fascinating experiments including exciting illusions, magnetic field manipulation, building oxygen, carbon dioxide and water using molecular modelling kits, examining 170 million year old fossils and meeting live animals to mention just a few.
