Real Events managed this project on behalf of Forfás from 2004 - 2008 producing large-scale National Awards for Primary Schools who achieved excellence in the field of science. Real Events coordinated 654 schools to receive their awards in 20 high profile regional events in June 2008. Our expertise ensured that each of the regional events were managed to the highest standards. Real Events project managed all aspects of the awards ceremonies around the country and liaised with over 80 science based organisations in creating hands-on interactive exhibitions, Science Pods and learning zones for each awards ceremony. These have included a range of fascinating experiments including exciting illusions, magnetic field manipulation, building oxygen, carbon dioxide and water using molecular modelling kits, examining 170 million year old fossils and meeting live animals to mention just a few. |
